Creative entrepreneurship, based on creative ideas, technological innovation and local identity, shapes the contours of a post-industrial society and has great potential – both economic and sociocultural. What is the difference between the creative environment of capital cities and small regional centers? How to balance large-scale infrastructure initiatives and targeted support for creative projects? How can the New Economy contribute to increasing the number of SMEs, enhancing productivity and employment as set out in the “May Decrees” of the President of the Russian Federation? Panelists will discuss the experience of developing creative entrepreneurship in remote regions of Russia and elsewhere. Particular attention will be paid to mastera.academy, an online learning platform for creative entrepreneurs, its results achieved and plans for the future.
